If you have questions about sexuality, gender, identity, staying safe, relationships and diversity or you find that you're needing medical or mental health support you can reach out to us here at Sonder.

There are also numerous resources and support services that can help if:

  • You’re not sure about your sex, sexuality or gender

  • You’ve been rejected or harassed

  • You feel alone or isolated

  • You or someone you know needs to talk about sex, sexuality or gender

  • You require navigating through the support system that is available to you.

You can reach out to the Sonder support centre via the chat function on the app and talk to one of our friendly support coordinators who can determine what support you require. Alternatively there are lots of resources that you can access for more information. Just know that it's completely okay to ask for help.

  • QLife provides anonymous and free LGBTQIA+ peer support and referral for people in Australia wanting to talk about sexuality, identity, gender, bodies, feelings or relationships. Find out more about QLife here.

  • BlaQ Aboriginal Corporation was established as a response to the identified need for strengthened visibility of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander LGBTQIA+ community. They aim to foster pathways that provide informed and authentic representation, that positively impacts the social and emotional wellbeing of their people.   • Through a preventative model of mental health support, Minus18 tackle social isolation by creating fun-filled spaces where LGBTQIA+ young people belong and are celebrated. Find out more about Minus18 here.

  • TransHub is a digital information and resource platform for all trans and gender diverse (TGD) people in NSW, their loved ones, allies and health providers. Find out more about TransHub here.

  • Beyond Blue are Australia’s most well-known and visited mental health organisation, focused on supporting people affected by anxiety, depression and suicide. Find out more about Beyond Blue here.

  • Lifeline are a national charity who provide all Australians experiencing emotional distress with access to 24 hour crisis support and suicide prevention services. Find out more about Lifeline here.

  • ACON are a community organisation originally established in 1985 in response to the HIV/AIDS epidemic and has since grown to be Australia's largest HIV and sexuality and gender diverse health organisation. As part of its mission, ACON provides Pride Counselling for LGBTQIA+ community members. Find out amore about ACON's Pride Counselling here.
